a glimmer into the life of a mum who loves fashion, decor and prosecco

our entry

I wanted to share our entry console table.  Keep in mind that we have a small condo and I USE every square inch for storage and/or dual purposes!

My mum and I found this gorgeous rustic, distressed console at Home Goods a few years ago!!  And I love that it has 7 drawers.  It is perfect for hiding all those random "throw-as-you-walk-in-the-door" things!  Here is what is in my 7 drawers:
1. Keys, pens, sunglasses, ipods
2. Mail - bills, checkbooks, (important reminder stuff)
3. Address book, ribbon & RANDOM STUFF
4. Lucy's collar, leash and poop bags
5. Batteries, paperclips, measuring tape & RANDOM STUFF
6. Keepsake birthday, valentines, love you, Easter cards
7. Extra keys and change for the parking meters

I found this gorgeous vintage lamp at an estate sale in Brentwood a few years ago for $15 - It came with that nice linen shade! My husband bought me that painting (sorry her head is cut off in this pic) from the same gallery in Les Baux de Provence, France that we bought another few paintings from when we were there honeymooning!

I have to have photos up, the house feels "staged" and empty with out them - I do like to group them in similar frames; like these three in black matte frames.

My golden pear - I love this!  My mum gave it to me a few years ago and it migrates around the house.  I also LOVE my Jo Malone home fragrance spray - its delicious (I have used it as perfume when running late) . . . and excuse my little glass votive holder - it's sadly missing it's candle in this pic!

My favorite candles by Voluspa - this one is amazing and in a pretty black glass dish.   The picture in the background is a Pablo Picasso nude done on wood - it was in my parent's house when we grew up and my mum gave it to me a few years ago.  I love the colors and I love propping it up and not hanging it!

The daffodils are from Trader Joe's - they were something ridiculous like $1.20 a bunch so I got like 5 and put them in my husbands beer glass - ha ha ha bet he's looking for it! The tall brass etched vase is an antique that was in my parents house growing up too - I LOVE having things in my house from growing up - always ton's of memories and coziness floating around.

  1. Love this table and what a beautiful vignette. I see you love Chartreuse as much as me! Love all these colours and textures together. You have a real knack for pulling things together!

Thank you for your comments, I truly appreciate it! Have a fabulous day. xoxo E
