a glimmer into the life of a mum who loves fashion, decor and prosecco

Mummy Circle Monday

It still amazes me that there are some sights and visions that I see each day that surprises me that I am a mum and that there is a little person running around our home and filling our hearts.  I mean it's been 2+ years but there are still some daily things that I see or hear that crack me up and stop me in my tracks and I go "Holy sh*t! We are parents! I am a mummy!  We have an amazing little spunky daughter!"  I absolutely love being a mummy to this little happy funny girl.  She is a ray of light that keeps me on my toes everyday, all day and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Here are some things I am talking about . . .
1. Stickers stuck on my clothes that I don't see until  I am wearing them at work
2. Random sets of keys & juice bottles stuck into daddies jacket pockets for him to take work, courtesy of Emerson taking care of dada!
3. Squishy wet bath books hidden behind all mummy's pretty pillows on our bed
4. Sand toys and bubbles in the shower
5. Half eaten fruit EVERYWHERE!
6. A gazillion half-empty sippy cups everywhere
7. Her little potty and her toothpaste/brush in my bathroom next to mine
8. One tiny little sock found in almost every load of laundry
9. Sticky smushed raisins camouflaged on our dark hardwood floor

Do you feel this way sometimes?  What things do you see or hear that snaps you back to "wow, I'm a mummy?"

Here are some random photos of our super chill, relaxed, FUN weekend!

Practicing her big sister skills!

So much fun going up and down the escalator that mummy had to do it 6 times with her!

  1. Giggle giggle! Yes totally. Stickers everywhere, 4 raisin boxes in my purse, a bracelet in daddy's pockets, tiny socks laying around the house or stuck in some corner. All of these little reminders of the chaos they bring to our lives. Hee hee

  2. All of the above, but the ones that make me smile the most are the squished raisans on the floor and the stickers...BTW, you look amazing in that dress, incredible. (the elevator rotation brings back memories, in fact all my kids were still doing it at the movie theatre this weekend...)

Thank you for your comments, I truly appreciate it! Have a fabulous day. xoxo E
