a glimmer into the life of a mum who loves fashion, decor and prosecco

merry monday

We had a FAB weekend.  It was cold and rainy and wet! We had soccer practice (just a few toddlers running after each other with the occasional kick of a ball, but we parents like to call that "practice") then we went to the Santa Monica Christmas Tree lighting.  We missed the actual ceremony and show (we were at a fantastic little gastro-pub having some yummy tater-tots and beet salad and a "few" glasses of wine) BUT we did get to see the Christmas carolers and Emerson met . . . . . SANTA for the first time!!!! Oh and we also got the most amazing cookies from here ........no joke, they are absolutely delicious and they serve them hot with ice cold milk . . . .wowza!

It was such a festive night, perfect way to get in the Holiday spirit!

First thing she asked him was "Where are your reindeer?" and do they want carrots?

Then Sunday was a total "stay-in-jammies-all-day-watch-Christmas-cartoons-make-beer-(Mr-Hotpants)-organize-girls-closet-and-drink-hot-tea" kinda day!  There was lots of this going on . . . .

Our two beautiful healthy girls; we have so much to be thankful for!

Today I wanted to linger on these photos, for as much as I don't really know much about her or her personality I am strangely intrigued be Victoria Beckham.  On one hand I absolutely love her style but on the other, I wish she would look like a normal mum of a 4mth old and 3 boys!!! I mean come on can't she wear some old jeans, a sweater and some flats at least at their soccer practices!!! Disclaimer --- Our baby girl, Harper, was born 5 days before Beckham Harper, so they actually copied our name choice and not the other way around, ha!

This terrifies me! I would definatley fall flat on my face with heels this high and jeans that long.  I hate holding Harper when I am wearing high heels! But they both look fantastic! love the burgandy on baby Harper

This is exactly what I wore to soccer this past Saturday!

I have to admit, I am in love with her signature dresses that she designs for her clothing line.  They really accentuate a womans body in all the right places.  I have read that they are amazing to wear and and completely lined with a spanx-like interior and a lot of boning.  I love this combo; the blue with the grey boots.

This is a great dress, love the orange and navy! but guess where she wore this to??? Storytime with Harper at FAO Schwartz in NYC!!! Not exactly what I look like at my mummy-n-me groups!

  1. Gorgeous pics of you and our lovelies. Fab one of Santa - he looks so storybook real as if from central casting! I guess that's the joy of living near Hollywood, right! Yes VB, as you say intriguing (great, great style, never gets it wrong, love her dresses too) And I was taking a long hard worrying look at the length of those jeans while she holds her bubs. The fact is she has her mother and sister as staff as well as many, many others and never ever eats. How fun a life is that? (I'd rather keep the tater tots and wine)

Thank you for your comments, I truly appreciate it! Have a fabulous day. xoxo E
