Please come in - Ms. H's Room

So it has been about 9mths since we moved in and while not much has changed (we are still missing some big furniture pieces) I have been working on the girls rooms slowly, picking up little things here and there.  I thought it was about time to share with y'all.  The pic's are not that great (iPhone) but you will see the basic idea . . . I will put the details below and also list what I still need to do so you can keep me on track.  This is little Ms. Harpers bedroom and it fits her personality to a T!

Yellow floor lamp - Urban Outfitters
Rug - Homegoods
Rocking chair - Amazon
Art on wall - Homegoods
Heart Garland - Target (Valentines decor)
Yellow table lamp - Old PB lamp that I spray painted yellow
Lampshade - Target
Bookshelf (laying horizontal) - Ikea
Sheepskin rug - Costco
Crib Sheets - Pottery Barn
Dresser - Ikea (added these gold pulls
Yellow Paint for Stripes - Benjamin Moore "Sun Kissed Yellow"

Things I still want to do:
Artwork on wall above crib (living in CA with Earthquakes it will have to be
either super lightweight or stencils)

Change hardware on the closet doors to yellow knobs (or spray paint the ones on there)

Artwork or mirror above her dresser

Window seat pillow made with some fantastic fabric

Possibly curtains??

Leather Moroccan pouf

  1. Oh so sweeeeet! I love it. My mom bought me two of those heart garlands, and now to have in Sophia's room as well - aren't they just the cutest things EVER!? xo

    1. thanks and yes I wish I had bought a few more of those heart garlands!

  2. Love that everything is from places within everyone's budget! Such a cute room! Love the rug and the hardware on the dresser!! Awesome finds.

    1. Thank you! The rug was a great deal, I can't remember the brand, but it is a high end rug but was an amazing price at HG! I will post where I got the pulls from too because they were a great price!

  3. That striped ceiling is AMAZING! And I love the colors you chose for her room--so cute!
